Book Review: It’s All About the Dress – Savvy Secrets, Priceless Advice and Inspiring Stories to Help You Find “The One”

If you are addicted to “Say Yes to the Dress” as much as I am you were probably very excited when it was reported the Randy Fenoli and Kleinfeld’s would be writing a book that would have the secrets to brides finding their perfect dress.

The first question that popped into my mind was would Randy’s personality come through the pages of the book? Would it truly be easy for brides to follow the secrets and find the perfect dress? Or would this make brides want to travel to New York just to meet Randy themselves and get his advice first hand?

I can tell you that for any bride who is have trouble finding their dress; then this is a book you definitely need to get and have with you when you are looking for your dress.

What is great about the book and the advice that Randy gives throughout is that he breaks it down into digestible pieces so that you don’t feel overwhelmed. The book reads as though Randy is right there with you.

Randy starts the book with his story and how he came to be the man with an eye to help any bride find the perfect dress for their special day.

Then he talks about what his 5 essentials are for finding a wedding dress:

1. Your Story

2. Your Plan

3. Your Gown

4. Your Body

5. Your Look

What I love about this approach is that the focus is truly on the bride and what they want, there is no need to take anybody else into consideration unless you want to.

Peppered throughout the book are experiences of other brides that Randy has worked with and how he helped them find their perfect dress.

He even has advice for your bridesmaids, mothers and groomsmen.

At 230 pages and prices at $30, I think that this book is well worth it for brides to purchase and use as a guide to finding the perfect dress.

You can pick this book up at your local book store or online at indigo.ca

Until next time happy planning
